Dust Proof Extruded Strips are engineered to create a continuous sealing barrier around openings, joints, panels, doors, windows, and equipment enclosures. Their primary function is to reduce the penetration of dust, dirt, air, moisture, and other contaminants while helping protect internal components and improve the overall sealing performance of the assembly.
The strips are manufactured using a controlled extrusion process, which helps maintain consistent dimensions and profile geometry throughout the length of the product. This makes them suitable for applications requiring accurate fitting and continuous sealing.
Different elastomeric materials can be selected according to the working environment. EPDM rubber offers excellent resistance to ozone, UV radiation, weathering, and moisture, while silicone provides excellent temperature resistance and long-term flexibility. TPE can be selected when a combination of flexibility, processability, and environmental resistance is required.
The profile can be designed with various structures, including solid strips, sponge sections, bulb seals, lip seals, channels, and multi-layer profiles. These designs allow the product to accommodate different gap sizes and compression requirements.
