The High-Performance Hydraulic Brake Hose is engineered to provide reliable hydraulic pressure transmission between fixed and moving components of an automotive braking system. Unlike rigid brake pipes, the flexible hose allows movement between the vehicle chassis, suspension, steering components, and wheel assemblies while maintaining a secure and reliable brake-fluid connection.
The inner tube is manufactured from brake-fluid-resistant rubber, commonly based on EPDM for compatibility with suitable glycol-based brake fluids. The material is designed to resist swelling, deterioration, and loss of physical properties when exposed to compatible brake fluids over extended periods.
A high-strength reinforcement layer is incorporated into the hose construction to provide excellent resistance to hydraulic pressure and dimensional deformation. Textile or high-tensile fiber reinforcement can be selected according to the required pressure and performance specifications.
The outer cover provides protection against abrasion, ozone, weathering, moisture, heat, and mechanical stress. This is particularly important for brake hoses installed near wheels and suspension components, where they may experience repeated bending, vibration, road debris, and changing environmental conditions.
