Weather Resistant Strips

Weather Resistant Strips are specially designed for outdoor applications where sealing materials are continuously exposed to changing weather conditions. They create a flexible barrier between mating surfaces, helping prevent rainwater, wind, dust, moisture, and other environmental contaminants from entering gaps and joints.

The strips are commonly manufactured from EPDM rubber, which is widely recognized for its excellent resistance to UV radiation, ozone, weathering, moisture, and temperature fluctuations. Silicone rubber can also be selected for applications requiring enhanced temperature resistance and long-term flexibility.

Produced through a precision extrusion process, the rubber strips maintain consistent cross-sectional dimensions along their length. This provides accurate fitting and reliable sealing performance for continuous applications.

Various profile designs can be customized, including flat strips, solid rubber profiles, hollow bulb seals, D-shaped profiles, P-shaped profiles, U-channels, edge trims, and specially designed sealing sections. The profile geometry can be optimized according to the required gap size, compression ratio, installation method, and sealing requirements.

The flexible construction provides excellent compression recovery, allowing the strip to maintain close contact with the mating surfaces despite repeated movement and thermal expansion. This makes the product suitable for outdoor structures and equipment exposed to frequent temperature changes.

Weather Resistant Strips are widely used in windows and doors, automotive components, solar photovoltaic systems, outdoor electrical cabinets, construction equipment, industrial machinery, curtain walls, building facades, and outdoor enclosures.

They can be installed around window frames, door panels, PV module components, equipment covers, cabinet doors, vehicle body panels, and other joints requiring protection from outdoor environmental conditions.
